Hamble Retreat was established in 2009 and we have been welcoming guests ever since. Our team are professional, highly motivated and strive to provide you with an enjoyable stay. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and quality of service. The self catering studio apartments are ideal for those wishing to 'do their own thing', with fully equipped kitchens and lounge areas. Our unique 'Lodge' is set in a perfect location, equipped with outdoor furniture.

Property info

In the grounds of Hamble House are a lodge and four studios. Each studio has a lounge area with flat screen TV, sofa, a full size kitchen fully equipped. Separate bedroom area, large wardrobe and dressing table. Separate bathroom, walk in shower, there is also a washing machine and airer. Each Studio has its own Patio area. The lodge is very private and has its own garden area with private hot tub for sole use of the guests staying in the lodge. All accommodation is supplied with quality linen and towels, together with furnishings to make your stay a comfortable one. There is absolutely heaps to see and do nearby, with sailing, a wide choice of other activities, beaches, attractions and good places to eat within walking distance or just a short drive away. NOTE: NO ACCESS BY STUDIOS OR LODGE TO LEISURE FACILITIES OR GARDEN OF MAIN HOUSE.

The setting is a quiet village on the banks of the River Hamble that’s a popular spot for sailing with its small harbour and marina. The air is distinctly maritime and if you stroll around you’ll see that Warsash has some interesting independent shops including a butchers and a bakers, and several cafes, restaurants and inns. Southampton and Gosport are both just a short drive away. With everything that Hamble House has to offer you may not feel the need to go anywhere; if you fancy a stroll there’s access to the river from the gardens. Go and soak up the wonderful maritime atmosphere or put your boots on and stroll to Swanwick or Lee-on-Solent, or pick up the Strawberry Trail – good for cycling too! Get on the water with Hamble River Boat Charter or catch the pink ferry across the river to Hamble-Le-Rice, a quaint cobbled fishing where you can go crabbing. Within a few miles you’ll find plenty to interest you - Portchester Castle, Titchfield Abbey and the The Brickworks Museum should satisfy those with a passion for history. Nature lovers will enjoy the River Hamble Country Park and Hook with Warsash Local Nature Reserve.
