Characterful First-Floor Apartment with Spectacular Harbour Views in the Heart of Crail | Sleeps 2. Harbour View Apartment sits on the first floor of a 17th-century Category C-listed building in the very heart of Crail, and enjoys truly spectacular views over the harbour, beach and sea from both the sitting room and dining room. With tasteful local artwork throughout and WiFi included, it's a welcoming 'home from home' for couples, artists, bird watchers, walkers and golfers, with a great choice of courses within a 10-mile radius. Outside the main summer season, three-night stays are available, making it a lovely option for a coastal mini-break as well as longer escapes. Offering 66 m² of accommodation, the apartment is accessed via a secure communal stair from the side/rear of the building and opens into a bright reception hall with hardwood flooring and doors to all rooms. The sitting room has dual-aspect windows — one framing the harbour and sea, the other looking back towards the High Street — and is comfortably furnished with sofas, occasional chairs, tables and lamps, plus a TV with Freeview and Fire Stick (sign-in required), a DVD player and a selection of books. Next door, the separate dining room is perfectly placed to soak up those harbour views, with an accent chair and side table by the window and a dining table for four. A door leads through to the fitted kitchen, with a mix of closed and open units.

Crail is one of the most picturesque and historic villages in the East Neuk, famous for its stone harbour, cobbled streets and beautifully preserved cottages. With sweeping North Sea views and a peaceful coastal atmosphere, it’s a timeless place to explore — from rock pools and fishing boats at the harbour to the charming wynds that wind through the village. The centre of Crail is full of character, with artisan shops, galleries, cafés and summer seafood huts by the harbour. Everything is within easy walking distance, giving the village a welcoming and lively community feel. Just along the coast lies Crail Golfing Society at Balcomie and Craighead, home to some of the world’s oldest links. These classic courses offer dramatic sea views and centuries of golfing heritage. And for golf lovers wanting to experience the very best, the iconic Old Course and the centre of St Andrews are only 15 minutes away by car. Travel is simple, with regular buses to St Andrews, Anstruther and the surrounding East Neuk villages. The harbour is roughly a 10–15 minute walk, the shops and cafés only minutes away, and supermarkets are available in nearby Anstruther.
