Hello, here in East Devon we are tucked away from the noise of roads, only sounds of the countryside. You will be able to see the stars on a clear night. Close to the coast. The Cider Press is upside down living as it was at one time an old barns used to make and store, the important local drink, Cider. There are many footpaths in the area, and you can start from your door. The Stables and the Wagon house are also very comfortable and spacious for a great family /friends /couples holiday stay in a charming quiet setting. The wildlife, bird song is right on your doorstep with livestock farming all around. HOWEVER we do NOT host DHSS or County Council care in the community persons with carers, these are third party bookings and will be canceled.
We enjoy meeting guests from many parts of the UK and the world all over, its very interesting to speak to the lovely guests. We are working farmers , making are living out producing milk and spring lambs. We work with our son. We look after the hedges and the fields for the animals to graze in. We have lived in this area all our lives and so have are families. When I can I like to go to the sea for a swim or just to listen to the waves on the shingle.
We have a lot of footpaths from our door. A local play area 1/2 mile down the road. The local village has a shop and river and a part time pub called the Tuckers arms. A very popular pub is the Sidmouth Arms, not far away in the village of Upottery EX149PN Many places to visit in the area. Lyme Regis, Charmouuth, Sidmouth and Beer, Seaton and Branscombe are very popular beaches as is Exmouth not far away. Gardens at Forde Abbey and Burrow farm. Also many N.T. in the area.
