Henlle Home Farm is a single-storey stone-built annex near Gobowen, Shropshire, consisting of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with TV, along with a sofa bed. The kitchen includes an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. There is one super-king-size bedroom, served by a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. WiFi and a selection of books and games are also provided. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, lawn, furniture, and countryside views, along with off-road parking for 2 cars. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Note: The sofa bed can sleep 1 additional adult or 2 additional children. The village of Gobowen lies just to the north of Oswestry and with two churches, a number of shops and pubs and a golf course on the outskirts, this is a lovely base with fantastic rail links to Chester and Shrewsbury. The local area is ideal for scenic walks and bike rides, especially along the Shropshire Union Canal, and a variety of exciting watersports are available on the nearby River Dee at Llangollen. Three miles away is old Oswestry, the site of a spectacular Iron Age Hill Fort, while today the town offers many historic buildings and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Ellesmere, just eight miles away is home to the lovely Church of Saint Mary, a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants and entertainment on and around the nine meres (lakes) which surround the town. Stroll through Cremorne Gardens, enjoy fishing and sailing or explore Colemere Country Park with its wonderful wildlife and scenic walks. The whole area has something for everyone.
