We have recently taken over Hensleigh House, and hope to have many years within this industry.We have had a Guest House previously, then sold and returned to our " day jobs " . We missed the hospitality: Here we are again, in a beautiful house, in a beautiful area, within a stones throw of the sea. We would love to share our beautiful home " Hensleigh House " with you.

Situated in Charmouth on the Jurassic coast just 2 miles from Lyme Regis, Hensleigh House Charmouth provides quality bed and breakfast, 300 metres from the famous fossil beach. The West Dorset coast is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, with spectacular scenery and a favourite for fossil hunters from beginners to professionals. Charmouth village centre is just a 3 minute walk away. The 8 comfortable rooms have flat screen televisions, en-suite bathrooms, free toiletries, hairdryers, and tea and coffee making facilities. Family rooms and family suites with connecting rooms are available. Free WiFi is available throughout. We pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable and friendly accommodation in a perfect location to explore the Dorset coast. Whether you normally stay in hotels or bed and breakfast, we are sure you will enjoy Hensleigh House. A hearty English breakfast prepared with local fresh produce is served in the delightful dining room, with cereals, fruit and fish, vegetarian options are also available. In Lyme Regis family rooms are often in short supply. However, we have 2 family rooms each with 2 bedrooms enabling parents and children to have a little privacy. With Charmouth beach a 3 minute walk away, and Lyme Regis 2 miles away, you are perfectly located for a great holiday.

Charmouth is an unspoilt traditional village on the West coast of Dorset just 2 miles from Lyme Regis. Thatched cottages and buildings dating back hundreds of years, mingle with a selection of pubs and shops. However the star of Charmouth is the beach. As part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the ideal family beach with a mix of sand and pebbles, fossils, clean sea and safe swimming.
