Company info

We are the new owners of the Herdwick Guest House and have been welcoming guests to the house since December 2019 and have very much enjoyed meeting everyone. We are ambassadors for the Theatre by the lake and can offer a discount of three pounds per ticket on certain shows by applying the discount code 86596 to your online booking for theatre tickets.

Property info

A lovely Victorian property arranged over 3 floors built around 1870. Tastefully decorated with rooms updated regularly. We are a small friendly bed and breakfast in a quiet residential street close to the town centre. Parking is free and unrestricted on the streets around the house. Free Fibre-Optic WiFi throughout. The Lake and Theatre is about a 10 min walk. We source all local produce for our cooked Cumbrian breakfast where possible.

Neighborhood info

The house is about a 5 minute walk to the town, shops, pubs and restaurants. The Lake and much renowned Friars Crag is a 10 -15 min walk. Keswick is situated within the national park and is part of the UNESCO world heritage site. Ashness bridge is a 10-15 min drive down towards Borrowdale valley that leads to Honister pass and ultimately Honister slate mine with the famous via ferrata.
