Rigg & Rest apartment is a newly refurbished two-bedroom self-catering property situated on the second floor of a popular apartment complex Quarry Rigg. Located right in the centre of the vibrant village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and its variety of restaurants and bars. The shores of Lake Windermereis less than a 5 minute walk away, where you will find the Piers and Windermere Lake Cruises. This Lake District apartment offers two bedrooms; a double and a twin, making it ideal for families, a family bathroom with bath and shower over. The open-plan living and dining area open out onto the balcony, offer mountain views. The kitchen area offers plenty of worktop space and storage to cook up a family meal with ease. The central location is perfect as a base to explore all that the Lake District has to offer.

Bowness-on-Windermere is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Windermere, a short distance from the Windermere Ferry that crosses to Sawrey on the western shore. The Windermere Lake Cruises are a stroll away from the Apartment where you can sail up to Ambleside or down to the Southern end for the Lakeside Aquarium and the Haverthwaite railway. Windermere Train Station is 1-mile up the road. The train service links to Oxenholme Station which is on the West Coast mainline between London and Edinburgh. As such, the area is easily accessible by train and then locally, use the frequent bus service. There is something for everyone locally that makes Bowness-on-Windermere an excellent holiday destination.
