There is parking directly outside, this is local authority and a 1 hour limit though, but technically after 5pm cars can be left till 9am the next morning. Bowness is 1.5 miles from the apartment. Ambleside is 6 miles. Coniston 12 miles. And all these places can be reached from so easily from the Bus station 100 metres away.
