Clean, spacious and totally charming. It had all we needed and more, with nice touches like a bouquet of fresh picked wildflowers, a wood fire, and fresh baked short bread.

It was a lovely traditional cottage with 2 nice bedrooms both with en suite shower rooms. All very clean. Nice wood fire with plenty of logs. Nice area with lovely countryside surroundings.

An idilic cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Close proximity to Vindolanda. Thoughtful and welcoming owners and their home made shortbread was delicious.

So peaceful. Lovely garden. With two en-suite bathrooms, perfect for families or, in our case, adults sharing. Great storage space. Well placed for exploring Hadrian's wall & walks.

Situated between Hadrian’s Wall and the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty we are a small working farm with beautiful pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle. We have spectacular views over the South Tyne valley towards both the Pennines and Hadrian’s Wall and are only a mile away from the South Tyne Trail and Lambley Viaduct (a fantastic cycle route). Enjoy a stay in our comfortable farm cottage with an inglenook fireplace, beamed ceiling and woodburning stove. We have lovingly restored this old building. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with en-suite shower rooms, a living /dining room and small kitchen. There is a pretty cottage garden with picnic table and BBQ and parking for 2 cars.
There is plenty to see and explore near us. We are about 3 miles from the small market town of Haltwhistle which has shops, an open air swimming pool and sports centre. You can explore the countryside by foot or bike we are near the South Tyne Trail and the wonderful Lambley Viaduct. And of course Hadrian's Wall and all it's forts and museums are only a short drive away. A half hour in the car east will take you to the historic market town of Hexham with shops, parks, an indoor pool, cinerma
