As well as running Bonawe House Holiday Cottages Renate also has her own Environmental Engineering Consultancy specialising in Energy Efficiency. Both Damon and Renate are volunteer active members of the Oban Mountain Rescue team.

Property info

Bonawe House is a beautiful 18th Century house set in mature gardens on the edge of the village of Taynuilt with views down Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains. A perfectly secluded slice of heaven, where once here you can hide away from the world. Lovely walks and tea rooms from the house

Neighborhood info

Some visitors never leave the village with beautiful beach, rural or mountain walks from the house. There are also wonderful cycle rides from here and tea shops and the village hotel to visit. However many guests stay because of the easy access to all the main west coast sights, whether it is visiting the islands, seeing Glencoe or Ben Nevis or even Loch Ness. All are day trips from the house.
