Ivy Cottage is a tranquil place to unwind and chill out from the day to day stresses of life. With the bulk of it built in 1850 it has all the things you would associate with a property of this age....oodles of character, latched wooden doors, not a straight wall to be had in the old part, cottage style kitchen. It's dark (at night), quiet and the vibe is very relaxing. Guests have the run of the house so they're not confined to one room. Guests can use the kitchen but please be aware this is a vegetarian home so no meat of fish allowed on the premises. Breakfast is when you want it....not at a prescribed time.....if you're working, an early start is not a problem, likewise if you're on holiday and want a late start.

Ivy Cottage is a 20 minute drive to Glastonbury, and 40 minute drive to Wells, Taunton and Bristol. Junction 23 of the M5 is a 10 minute drive. A perfect location for that get away you know you deserve. There are 5 nature reserves all within spitting distance so perfect for those that love to immerse themselves in nature. Stawell is a very quiet village just off the Polden Ridge and down on the Somerset Levels.
