Jacobite's Retreat
Built in 1672 from stone salvaged from Cromwell’s fort and used as a sanctuary for fleeing Jacobites from Culloden. Centrally located just two minutes from the River Ness, eateries, wine bars, whisky tasting and shopping. Family friendly and fully equipped to be a home away from home. Perfectly situated for a city centre break or to explore the wider Highlands including the NC500. Just 3-5 minutes walk from Inverness train and bus stations. 1-3 minutes from bars and restaurants.
Jacobite’s Retreat couldn’t be more perfectly located to experience everything Inverness and the Highlands has to offer. In the heart of the Old town .. all bars, restaurants and shops are walking distance from the house.
