We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay. When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via email with all the necessary information to check in at your leisure. Check in is from 4pm, unless one of our early check in options has been purchased. Check out is strictly 10am, unless one of our late check out options has been purchased. Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the key box code 7 days prior to arrival. Juniper Cottage is a fabulous modern detached home in Elie, individually designed and built by the owners around 14 years ago, and it offers the perfect balance of privacy and village convenience. Tucked away in a quiet setting, you are still only minutes from the cafés, shops and everyday essentials on Elie High Street, and just a short stroll from the long sandy beach for sea swims, sandcastle days and sunset walks. Inside, the house is bright, spacious and thoughtfully laid out for easy holidays together, sleeping up to eight guests across three bedrooms with two bathrooms, making it ideal for families, friends and multi generation breaks. The open, airy feel creates a relaxed space to gather, while the generous proportions give everyone room to unwind after days exploring the East Neuk. Outside, a secluded rear garden with a patio sets the scene for lazy breakfasts, long lunches and outside dining in the fresh coastal air. Practical touches make stays simple, including one off road parking space and a garage that is ideal for storing bikes and beach gear, so you can make the most of coastal paths, village adventures and days out to St Andrews, all from a comfortable and well positioned base.

Elie and Earlsferry are two of the most picturesque towns in the East Neuk with a beautiful long sandy beach and a pretty little harbour. The golf links are the feature that joins the beautiful villages of Earlsferry and Elie and the local population are justifiably proud of their ancient course. The course has evolved over the centuries from a simple links golfing tract in the 1500s to the fine 18 hole course it is today. Elie town centre has lots of little shops ranging from the Elie Deli, Carol's Ice Cream Shop and the pharmacy, all the way to The Ship by the Harbour with its beach cricket and good food. Everything in Elie and Earlsferry is within walking distance, be it the Elie Ness Lighthouse, the beaches, the Links golf course and many more facilities. The bus routes are all frequent and easy to use. Taxis are available to the surrounding towns and St Andrews. 15 mins walk to Elie town centre, 5 mins walk to Elie Golf Course and less than 1 mins walk to the long, sandy Elie & Earlsferry Beach. Supermarket available in Anstruther, but lots of small local shops in Elie will provide most of what you will need.
