Private location overlooking open countryside and the River Dochart. With a private sunken hot tub, this property is located just 400 metres from the centre of the historic town of Killin on the edge of the national park. Set in 4 acres overlooking the River Dochart and the hills beyond, the cottage is in the pretty town of Killin is on the edge of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park at the western end of Loch Tay, offering a great selection of amenities. The beautiful Falls of Dochart run through the town; the famous white waters can be viewed from the village's bridge. The local area offers a range of activities from water sports to rural pursuits. You have fishing rights to a section of the River Dochart, around 20 meters from the house, so enjoy a spot of fishing here or paddleboarding. Entering the property, there is a handy porch to dry off damp coats and muddy walking boots. Heading into the hallway, you will find the bright, spacious lounge with comfy seating and a Smart TV which has Sky/Netflix. After a day out exploring, put on a movie, kick back and relax in front of tv or relax in the Hottub on the deck overlooking the stunning gardens.
Hello, I am Caroline and myself and my family are excited to welcome you to our home. I currently work in construction, but love spending as much time as possible with our family in Killin. We love music, entertaining and the great outdoors. When at our home in Killin we love paddle boarding on the River Dochart or swimming in Loch Tay and then having a well deserved dip in the hot tub. We are crazy about our dogs Charlie, Odie and grand puppy Ziggy. My now grown children and grandchildren have the best time at our home too with leisurely walks to the Falls of Dochart for a cool beer and a seat on the rocks. We live in South Lanarkshire where we run a few businesses and have busy lives, so we always look forward to our holidays like yourself. I am passionate about people, which is part of the reason we have the holiday rental business as we really want you to have an amazing break! We are huge supporters of Beatson Cancer Charity and MCKS Charity Foundation UK, which gives pantry supplies to schools and families around the UK. We are passionate about supporting others. Killin rocks!! It has so much to do, from leisurely strolls to some cycling or hill walking. You can hire bikes in the village or even canoes and paddle boards. Dogs are welcome everywhere! Please remember to book restaurants in peak season as it can get really busy. We also have our very own music festival in June which is such fun.
