Knole B&B is ideally positioned for all the delights the lovely town of Sevenoaks has to offer. Amongst which are the one off coffee shops, independent boutiques and fine restaurants. The once local cattle market which took place up until 1999 has now been replaced by the Saturday food market in the centre of the town.The town benefits from its own leisure centre which adjoins Knole Park in the north part of the town.The town has its very own theatre and cinema complex, The Stag, parts of which have recently been restored to their art deco former style. We are also within easy reach of all the wonderful historic attractions, with Knole and its historic National Trust house and 600 acre deer filled parkland being directly opposite. The popular Riverhill Himalayan Gardens with its rich planted gardens and expanding views of the North Downs is a 3 minute drive down the road. Ightham Mote, Penshurst Place, Lullingstone Castle, Hever Castle and Chartwell are all within easy reach. The Greensand Way is walked by many of our guests after a hearty breakfast to set them on their way. We are very happy to host those guests attending weddings, birthday parties and the numerous other celebrations at local venues such as St Julians, West Heath, Wildernesse Club and The Stag. We are very fortunate to have the acclaimed Sevenoaks School just a 15 minute walk from the house and host many parents, teachers and pupils alike. We serve a continental style breakfast from 7.30am or alternatively, for those guests not requiring breakfast, the room only option is available.

We were thrilled to finally open Knole B&B in February 2016, having spent several years planning and building the extension to our home. With the sole purpose being to run a high quality, professional bed and breakfast which offers our guests a truly relaxing, enjoyable, memorable stay during their time in Sevenoaks. I had previously worked in human resourcing at a historic site in Greenwich, south London. The career change has meant that I have met so many interesting guests from all over the world, and have really enjoyed welcoming them to my home as well as to the delights of Sevenoaks and its surrounding areas. My husband, Ian, had always envisaged running a B&B from home and was the mastermind behind the build and the startup of the business. We believe that offering our guests the best customer service, quality accommodation and local knowledge all contributes to a truly personal, relaxing, happy break away from home. The B&B is set in a residential road off the road running alongside Knole Park. There are no properties opposite, so the view is of the woodland within the Park. It is a 20 minute walk into Sevenoaks town which can be taken through Knole Park or alternately along the main road. We are a 2 minute walk to The White Hart pub which offers quality meals and local Kentish ales.
