Lackhams Estates was founded in 2021. The attached Edwardian cottage is set in 12 1/2 beautiful acres of peaceful Sussex countryside The cottage was previously used by the housekeeper to the main Arts and Crafts house, which is next door. There is a private drive with space for 2 cars. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a large oak table. The cosy lounge has ample seating, including a double sofa bed, wood burner and a TV. There are two bedrooms, containing a double bed in each room (not a twin bed). The cottage has its own private fenced garden for guests opposite the front of the house. The garden has ample seating, a BBQ, and luxury Hot Tub. The cottage also provides spectacular views of the extended gardens, woods and paddocks. There is no guest access to the wider grounds. Dogs are welcome at an extra charge (maximum of 2). Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs in the bedrooms. If you require linen for the sofa bed please request at least 48 hours in advance. The hot tub is checked daily and any breakages or damage will be charged for.

Slinfold (where the property is situated) is a picturesque small village, next to the historic market town of Horsham. There is 1 pub, and 1 shop in Slinfold. We have 34 miles of the ‘Downs Link’, a short walk away from the property, which can be used to walk, cycle or ride. Horsham has a lot to offer with pubs, great restaurants , wine bars, good shopping, a cinema, bowling alley, as well as a farmers market twice a week. There are excellent buses, rail and road links ( bus stop nearby) and the vibrant seaside city of Brighton and Hove is 18 miles away. London is 34 miles. The property offers 2 car parking spaces. There are bus stops nearby and train stations c 3 miles away.
