Lavender cottage is a small but cosy place to come and get away from the rat-race. Perfect for out door persuits, i.e. Walking, cycling and horse riding. We have facilities for you to bring your horse on holiday and have a truly memorable break. Lavender cottage has everything you should need for a fabulous break. Weather you just want to relax or be more active there is plenty of things to do in the area. May Hill is definitely worth a visit with the most beautiful panoramic view, perfect for a picnic on a summers day, a footpath runs directly from us to the top of the hill. Lavender cottage will give yo a warm welcome.

We are a family run business and we pride ourselves on giving you a warm welcome and enjoyable break, we can point you in the right direction should you need some ideas of where to go, what to see or where to eat. We looking forward to meeting our guests and will endeavour to do our best to make your stay enjoyable.

Around and about our area there is a wide variety of things to do and see. May Hill is an outstanding area of natural beauty, and our farm sits just bellow the summit, the panoramic views are stunning. There are many pubs and restaurants within a mile or two of us to enjoy. The royal Forest of Dean offers many outdoor activities, cycling, canoeing,rock climbing, go ape is a popular place to go, it is definitely worth a visit with its stunning scenery and wildlife. Gloucester docks approx 7 miles is lovely with the bustling key side with the boats and quay side bars and restaurants, and of course some lovely shops. Ross on wye an historic market town with its quaintness is great with the river side walks and bars and restaurants.
