Lavender Cottage is nestled on the owners small holding less than one mile from Robin Hoods bay close to Whitby and Sandsend. Manor Farm is situated on National Park land surrounded by the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. With National Park walkways that lead to Cleveland Way and other near by natural treasures. This rustic cottage is perfect for couples to enjoy a romantic weekend or for families looking to take a break along the stunning East Coast
Hello, I would like to put our guests at ease regarding the current situation with social distancing. Lavender cottage is situated in rural surroundings, with ample space to stay safe. There is one other holiday cottage near by and also the owners house. Every guest has plenty of outside space, with seating areas to see the beautiful views. Lavender Cottage is cleaned and sanitized appropriately for our guests arrival.
The enchanting woodland walk From Maybeck to Little Beck is 1 mile away, which leads to the Falling Foss waterfall and tea rooms. The renowned cliff top walk between Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby is among the many delightful footpaths that are near to us. The night sky at Manor Farm is amazing with very little light pollution. Shooting stars are seen regularly. We enjoy spectacular sunsets all year but particulary between May and October. You can sit and relax watching our wonderful panoramic sea views for hours or the sun setting over Whitby Abbey and Sandsend cliffs. Lavender cottage is a brand new venture by the owner and everything in the cottage is new. The farm is 1 mile from Hawsker village and Robin Hoods Bay beach is easily walkable. It is a short 10 minute drive (4.3 miles) from Whitby town centre and Sandsend beach. It is only 5 minutes drive from the Whitby Abbey and Whitby brewery (3.5 miles) Nearby places: Whitby Train Station 3.4 miles Scarborough 15.5 miles Whitby Museum
