Welcome to Lavender Lodge, Wicklewood (3 mins from Wymondham), set in a very quiet location with open fields to the rear and lots of deer passing by, if you’re quiet. We’re dog-friendly too. 1 Double Bedroom and a NEW full size double sofa bed in the living room. For infants we also provide a cot for your convenience. You have full use of our out-of-ground heated swimming pool, in the summer months. Usually June to September, weather permitted. You also have the choice of using your own private hot tub all year round. Netflix, Amazon Prime etc If you need anything just ask as the owners live on-site. We hope you have a wonderful stay at Lavender Lodge.

Wicklewood can be traced back to the Iron Age, apart from pottery and the odd coin, a coin hoard was discovered at the Crownthorpe Roman settlement only half a mile from here. The site of a Roman temple was discovered in Wicklewood and when the fields are ploughed you might see metal detectorists around our village. At the top of High Street is the Cheery Tree Pub, its quirky owners draw opinion (check out Google reviews) however the beer is great. We're currently informed that they have closed the pub for refurbishments??? (May 2025) If you have children that would like to go on the swings, slide or even have a game of table tennis, please feel free to head across the road to Wicklewood park (3mins walk on the opposite side of the road, between the houses to Wicklewood village hall)
