Welcome to the Arbigland Estate. Our aim is to give you the best possibly holiday that will be fondly remembered and that you will want to return to again and again. Arthur's Cottage is one of 8 holiday cottages set on the 1000 acre estate. It is semi detached (Powillimount Cottage is the other side). The two cottages can be rented together enabling large family gatherings of up to 12 people. The combined cottages are set on their own with stunning views in every direction - the Solway Firth with the Lake District mountains in front of the cottage and to the back lovely mountainess views of Criffel. The cottage is recently renovated and very comfortable, light and spacious with a large living area and 3 en suite bedrooms, a utility room and a small conservatory. There is an enclosed garden for you to enjoy a BBQ and sundowner. Arbigland Estate is an area of outstanding natural beauty, unspoilt and rural set along the coast line of the Solway Firth. Brilliant bird life, lovely beaches, wondrous walks, good golf courses, marvellous mountain biking, gorgeous gardens, lots to see and do for all ages and interests!

A charming single storey traditional stone built cottage, 10 minutes walk from the beach. It has two en suite bedrooms (one double, one twin) and an open plan living area with a wood burning stove.

Little Dunbar is part of the Arbigland Estate set in Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland. It is located on the Solway Firth, 11 miles south west of Dumfries. It has a glorious rural setting and is about 10 minutes walk down to the beach at Powillimount.
