Self-contained apartment for 2 persons away from the maddening crowds, with wonderful views over the Blackmore Vale. The accommodation is deep cleaned between guests, heating and hot water, TV, Complimentary tea, coffee & fresh milk. we will even do your shopping before you arrive.
If you don't want to cook in the fully equipped kitchen, we are surrounded by great places to eat and an award-winning fish and chip shop.
By booking Little Glebe for 2 nights or a week or two you are guaranteed peace and quiet, free secure parking,, great walks, sightseeing, and, shopping in wonderful Sherborne (just 3 miles away) Our reviews are all genuine from happy guests and repeat visits are numerous. We look forward to your visit.
your dog is also welcome but not on the bed or sofa, we do make a small charge for your pet.
To find us, get yourselves to the village of Alweston on the A3030turn into Folke Lane at the only crossroad, past the Golf Club on the right, we are the very next house on the left just past the Folke village sign, please shut the gate, Friendly dogs and free range chickens about.
your front door is the green one, the keys are in the key safe, code to be advised.
Carolyn is a curtain and blind designer and maker. loves her dogs plus the cat and 4 chickens who all help the update of our fantastic garden.
John is a retired race car driver, who keeps his hand in by coaching/instructing at Thruxton MotorSport, also very keen on vintage and classic cars, his latest beauty is a 1973 MGB roadster. But has owned a string of Austin Sevens and various race cars.
Cutting the grass now takes up a lot of his day
Folke is a hamlet of 12 houses far from the maddening crowd, thus making your stay quiet and peaceful, yet Sherborne is just 3 miles away with 2 supermarkets and a wonderful high street close to traffic between 10 am and 4 pm, Not forgetting our magical Abbey and museum.
Drive 9 miles to Yeovil and you will find every shop or superstore you will ever need. Or just take one of our many walks from the house perhaps taking in a village pub.
