Little Halt is a charming 17th century thatched cottage overlooking Pound Green, located within the surrounding area of Freshwater on the Isle of Wight. Set in peaceful surroundings, there is ample space for sleeping up to 11 guests in five bedrooms.

Just a short 20 minute stroll to the beautiful Freshwater Bay, where you will be able to walk up to see Tennyson Monument. If walking is for you, just a short 1.5 miles on from the monument is The Needles where you will get some spectacular views. 20 minutes in the other direction is Totland Bay and the sandy beach of Cowell Bay, where you will be able to see the stunning sunsets. For any golf enthusiasts there is Freshwater Bay Golf Club with more beautiful views, just a short drive away. A great day for all the family is The Needles, a 10 minute drive away, home to the famous coloured sand, AlumBay Glass and Handmade Isle of Wight Sweets. There are some wonderful places to eat, The Hut at Cowell Bay is set on the revetment and has uninterrupted sea views. You can enjoy a horse or pony ride along the beaches at Hill Farm Stables. Visit Farringford Estate & Gardens, where Lord Alfred Tennyson resided. Any keen cyclists can hire bikes from Wight Cycle Hire, where they will bring the bikes to you and you will be able to cycle the many coastal paths the island has to offer.
