The neighbourhood The property is located in Deddington, a charming village in the Cotswolds. The village itself offers great amenities, including pubs, restaurants, boutique shops, and a farmers market on the last Saturday of the month. Meanwhile, many pretty towns and villages of the North Cotswolds, including Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are within easy reach. Days out can include trips to Tetbury, Highgrove, Cheltenham and Stratford-Upon-Avon. Or, head to local attractions including Soho Farmhouse, Bicester Village, Daylesford Organic, Blenheim Palace, and Oxford city centre with easy access by train or bus. If you are travelling via public transport, you can catch a bus from the marketplace, which is a two-minute walk from the house, travelling to Oxford and Banbury every hour. There are also two train stations nearby, one in neighbouring King Sutton with limited service, and the main train station in Banbury, 6 miles away. From Banbury, you can take a fast train to London in 55 minutes and to Birmingham in 40 minutes. The closest airports are Birmingham (50 minutes), Heathrow (just over an hour), and Luton (1hr 30mins).
