Situated 30 minutes from outstanding beaches at Lyme Regis, Hive and Chesil. Surrounded by country parks such as Ham Hill, Montecute House, Cheddar Gorge, The Newt and many great pubs.

We are a happy family with a very friendly Newfypoo. I am a film director, my husband a Designer and daughters are Actors. We like theatre and film, tennis, swimming and painting. West Chinnock is a beautiful little quiet Somerset village, with a small pub, surrounded by beautiful countryside and many public footpaths. The Country Park of Ham Hill with its Iron Age settlement is a 5 minute drive. Our neighbouring village has a grocery shop and there are many great restaurants and pubs in nearby Beaminster, Crewkerne and Sherbourne. The Lord Poulett Arms a couple of miles away serves delicious food. There are many National Trust properties nearby including Montecute House, Barrington Court and Lytes Cary Manor. The Jurassic coast with it's famous beaches such as Lyme Regis, Hive and Chesil are also within a 30 minute drive. Crewkerne station is only 4 miles away if you are travelling by train. Waterloo to Crewkerne takes 2 and a half hours. By car around the same time, from London to West Chinnock. Our quiet country lanes are ideal for cycling. Parking is not a problem in the villages and small towns near West Chinnock. There are wonderful walks all around us, with multiple footpaths and bridleways.
