The Space Nestled in a secluded and tranquil spot at the bottom of our cottage garden, the Hideaway Pod offers a private and peaceful experience. Built with high-quality materials, it ensures you stay cozy and comfortable, even during the coldest Highland spells. Step outside onto your own small, south-facing patio with a table and chairs, set within a generous and secluded garden area. It's the perfect spot for your morning coffee or an evening drink. I grew up in the Scottish highlands and returned after 20+ years of working in the UK and abroad. My wife Xia and I both work remotely for the video games sector. When we are not working, we love nothing more than spending quality time with our daughter, hiking in the mountains and chilling by the Loch. Our pod is located on the historic Lewiston Road, just a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Drumnadrochit village. Close to the famous Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre. Within a short walk, you can find a supermarket, dining, cafes, a petrol station, and pubs. For nature enthusiasts, numerous hiking trails are right on your doorstep, including the Great Glen Way, Balmacaan Woods, Glen Affric, and Divach Falls, where you might spot ancient woodlands, red squirrels, and herds of deer. Getting Around Drumnadrochit is an ideal base for exploring the wider Highlands.
