Welcome to Lochinver Guest House, a friendly and relaxed spacious Victorian town-house in one of the most beautiful and quiet streets in Ayr, lined with cherry trees and impressive Victorian villas, and just a five minute walk to town centre restaurants, bars and shops, and just a 6 minute walk to the seafront promenade. At Lochinver Guest House, impressive Victorian features combines with modern comfort, from the luxury cotton bed linen and antique furniture to the mouth-watering Lochinver breakfast served in our comfortable and spacious dining room, and luxury afternoon tea served daily in the elegant drawing room. We endeavour to make your stay at Lochinver Guest House a relaxing and enjoyable one. We have seven beautiful guest bedrooms - all named after Clans associated with Ayrshire, each room with a different character and all offering a high standard of accommodation. Each room has either en-suite or private facilities. Lochinver guest house has been under new management since the start of 2017.

Ayrshire is packed with things to see and do, with many golf courses in the local area including two champion courses and several links courses, Ayr Racecourse, and miles of stunning coastline to explore. Within Ayr itself is the internationally renowned Robert Burns Birthplace Museum and Cottage, and only a short drive down the beautiful coastal route is the stunning Culzean Castle, perched high on a cliff top, and magnificent Dumfries House, saved by the Prince of Wales, is just a short drive inland. There are lots of other things to explore in the area, including Loch Doon and Doon Castle ruins, Dunure Castle ruins on the coast, and of course on the Isle of Arran just a short ferry trip away, is Brodick Castle with its outstanding interior collections, along with 'Goat Fell' - a must for hill walkers. There are lots of other fantastic walking opportunities in the area too, including the Ayrshire Coastal Path, the Carrick Hills and the foothills of the Southern Uplands.
