Lone Star Lodge is a two bed, two bath, lodge located in Felmoor Country Park near Morpeth in Northumberland. Lone Star Lodge is a fully contained unit with all the amenities you would expect at home, including a washing machine and dishwasher. We have a travel cot available for younger guests and we are pet friendly. We are in a secluded area of the park right next to the pond, and in a great spot for kids to play without the risk of traffic. The lodge is a brand new in 2023 and decorated in a tastefully modern fashion. We have a large wrap around deck and a patio area to the side of the unit for picnicking in the summer months, or for the kids to play. There are two parking spots out front, and we are only a few minutes' walk from the Crazy Horse Saloon.

My name is Karen, and with my husband Mark, we purchased Lone Star Lodge in the summer of 2023 to re-establish our roots in the Northeast. This is our first rental property, so we are learning the ropes and excited to welcome our guests! I was born and raised in the Northeast and lived in Whitley Bay for most of my life before meeting Mark (originally from Wakefield) and moving to Houston, Texas. We have lived in Houston for 22 years and have three kids, but now that our kids are getting older, we hope to spend more time travelling back to the UK to spend time with our family and friends and explore the area that we both love.

Located in a beautiful part of the country, the area has lots to offer tourists including beautiful beaches, historic castles and landmarks, lots of places for hiking and biking, and of course a multitude of fun things for kids, including Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and Northumberland Zoo.
