Of particular note are the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival, the Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre and the Hay Festival. Enjoy a day out and visit Ludlow Castle, Croft Castle and Stokesay Castle to marvel at the local history. Visit the stunning Berrington Hall, a beautiful country house sitting in Capability Brown landscaped parkland as part of the National Trust. Hidden gems include the many English Heritage sites, such as Wigmore Castle and Witley Court and Gardens. Enjoy a picnic at the Ludlow Millenium Green, well worth a visit to just sit and relax and feed the ever hungry ducks swimming by. For an exciting day out, visit Ludlow Races, a small friendly National Hunt racecourse just 2 miles north of Ludlow.
