Lower Beeches and Upper Beeches sit alongside each other. Lower Beeches is stylish & quiet in a great location. It has a kingsized bedroom on the ground floor and twin room upstairs. Both rooms have en-suite's with a double headed shower. There is a small garden for your exclusive use. (N.B. Upper Beeches access runs alongside this garden. Lower Beeches can accommodate small/medium sized well behaved dogs by request. Upper Beeches Holiday Apartment is a stylish, flexible space for families or groups of friends - the apartment is accessed by stairs and has two levels. second set of stairs are narrow. There is an outdoor area for Upper Beeches which is a short walk from the front door, less than a minute away. Upper Beeches apartment cannot accommodate any pets. Lower and Upper Beeches are adjoined but self-contained homes, the west wing of a lovely old character house, once home to the owners of the famous Oakhill Brewery and now renovated and furnished for style, beauty and comfort. Both properties can access the fascinating 25 acres of adjoining private land with lakes at an extra cost. Great for a stop over to/from Dorset/Devon/ Cornwall

We love welcoming people to the glorious Somerset countryside. We honestly believe there is something here for everyone. We love the creative arts, wild swimming, walking in the Mendips, stargazing, singing in the village choir, socialising and being hospitable. My background is in creative education, theatre and retreat hosting; Rob's is in astrophysics and also in business but he has been known to write plays, tread the boards and do a turn or two of stand up. We have three lovely daughters and a West Highland Terrier, Freddie.

From historic Bath and Wells to quirky Frome and the vibrant city of Bristol - you will find plenty of places to visit. Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and the Mendip Hills provide outstanding walking and cycling opportunities. And close by you have wonderful Longleat with it's historic house, safari park and amusements - a fantastic day out. Walk in the tree-tops and sip cider at The Newt Gardens near Castle Cary. A perfect location for exploring Somerset; nestled alongside the Mendips (AONB) with easy access to Wells, Bath, Glastonbury, Frome, Cheddar Gorge, Bath and West Showground, Longleat, Stourhead, Bruton and more. There is also a lovely pub with good food 3 mins walk away. Why not finish off a perfect day with dinner at the Oakhill Inn - just a couple of minutes walk from Lower and Upper Beeches.
