Lower Lodge Barn is a striking and luxurious, reverse-living holiday barn providing the perfect place to celebrate with friends and family on a relaxing rural retreat to Warwickshire. The Barn sleeps eight guests across four double bedrooms with one ensuite bathroom, one family bathroom and two cloakrooms. Enjoy fantastic views across the local countryside from the spectacular, open-plan living-dining-kitchen area and upper terrace. Outside, there is a patio, BBQ, garden and spa-like hot tub. This newly renovated Barn is in a fabulous rural location within 550 acres of privately owned farm land yet it is within walking distance of a great local pub and is just eight miles from historic Stratford-upon-Avon. Two well-behaved dogs are welcomed (Please advise on booking, there is an additional fee.) Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. It is the policy of this property not to take bookings for groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25, or single-sex group celebrations, including stag/hen parties. Please note that additional guests above the maximum capacity are not permitted. 2 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. Please make yourself aware of the hot tub rules and hours of use. An additional fee of 75GBP applies and it must be requested at the time of booking.  Please note, if you would like bedroom three or four to be arranged as a twin, please contact us directly 7 days before arrival. 

Nestled on the edge of the bustling village of Alcester, you will find Lower Lodge Barn is ideal for a gathering of family or friends. Explore the 550 acres of privately owned farm land with hard standing tracks that are ideal for dog walking and cycling with links up to Oversley Wood. Here you’ll find 230 acres of stunning woodland bursting with wild flowers and a blanket of bluebells in spring. Or head out for the day to Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham or the Cotswolds, visit Ragley Hall, play a round of golf or spend some me-time at the local spa. Alcester is a market town at the junction of the River Alne and River Arrow in Warwickshire, close to the Worcestershire border. Alcester has a surprising number of public houses, restaurants and take away food outlets, as well as a variety of independent shops and plenty of antiques dealers and art and craft shops. Alcester is also known for two, nearby stately homes. To the north is Coughton Court, a National Trust property, and to the south-west is Ragley Hall the home of the Marquis of Hertford. Just three-minutes’ walk from the Barn are two great pubs/restaurants: The Fish at Wixford, The Three Horseshoes at Wixford.
