The Ludlow Mascall Centre is a self-funding, educational charity. Built in 1857 as a national school, the Victorian building has been extended to provide residential accommodation which is rated four stars in the group accommodation category by Visit England. We have seven twin rooms, a family room (one double bed and a set of bunk beds), and a single room which has been designed for those with limited mobility in mind. All of the rooms are situated on the first floor of the building with both stairs and lift access. There is ample free parking for our guests. Our rooms all have en-suite bathrooms and come with fresh towels and bedlinen, complimentary toiletries, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and free Wi-Fi. They have thermostatically controlled radiators, opening windows and oscillating fans. There is a private courtyard garden with seating as well as a fully equipped residents kitchen, dining area, and kitchen. Athena Taverna, located at the Centre, serves delicious traditional English breakfasts and authentic Greek dishes for lunch and evening meals. The Centre has been part of Ludlow’s Walkers and Cyclists are Welcome initiatives since their inception and has a secure area for bicycle storage.
