Mabel is over 100 years old. She's a steam roller caravan and used to be used for accommodation for the workers as they went around the country making roads. The space is compact, but cosy. The bed is a standard double, but a little short, so not ideal for very tall people. It's a short walk from the parking to Mabel where you'll be next to chickens and open fields. Toilet, shower and simple kitchen facilities are shared with another shepherd's hut next door. Wifi is available all over the farm, but phone signal isn't too good, so just enjoy switching off and spending time with the animals in nature. We look forward to welcoming you.

Rosuick Organic Farm is a beautiful traditional farmstead in the heart of the Cornish Lizard peninsula. Since the 1700’s The farm has been home to the Oates Family who manage the farm on a commercial basis but with a strong environmental ethos. Rosuick is also home to a herd of Camels. Our Bactrian Camels are really big pets which make your visit to the farm unique. The camels create a truly memorable day for visitors to the farm, and guests invited to events and weddings held at Rosuick Farm. Although farming almost entirely organically already, the decision to become certified organic by the Soil Association was made in 1997. A Pedigree herd of Welsh Black cattle are the central focus of the farm with a flock of sheep also kept to manage several other the Areas Of Outstanding Natural Beauty across the Lizard Peninsula. We farm sustainably utilising the mixture of old and new grass leys, woodland pastures, ponds and large areas of heathland, and have won awards for our farming practices. We believe that this diverse mixture of habitats creates the perfect classroom to inform people both young and old.
