We are situated in beautiful countryside halfway between Biggar and Lanark and within easy access of Edinburgh and Glasgow.. New Lanark World Heritage Village is only 5 miles from Carmichael . It is well worth a day out. The walk up to the Falls of Clyde from New Lanark is spectacular. The small market town of Biggar boasts lovely owner operated shops and produces the best ice cream in Scotland. For the more energetic a climb up our local hill, Tinto offers far ranging views.
