Mansion House Llansteffan is a charming 19th century mansion set is five acres of beautifully manicured grounds with breathtaking views of the Towy estuary and Carmarthen Bay. Moryd is our charming Welsh restaurant. Head Chef, Paul, & his team, pride themselves on using the highest quality locally produced ingredients, whether you call in for a lunch-time snack or an a la carte meal in the evening. The seasonal vegetables come from local farmer John, Llwyn Gwyn farm. Local fishermen provide fish freshly caught in Carmarthen Bay, their boats can be seen from the lawns as they sail in and out of the Towy estuary. The versatile layout means that the space can be used for many purposes, from a small business meeting through to a grand wedding day, and all that whilst enjoying the stunning views over the Towy estuary and Carmarthen Bay. Whether you wish to have a romantic weekend away, a think tank workshop in a productive environment or simply a bite to eat, the Mansion House can cover it all, with charm and hospitality that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Nestled in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside with breathtaking views of the Tywi estuary. We are minutes from the charming seaside village of Llansteffan but also just five miles from the large retail and market town of Carmarthen, central location giving easy access to Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Cardiganshire & the Gower. Only a few moments away, the charming seaside village of Llansteffan with its remarkable 12th century castle. The poet Dylan Thomas had strong family links to Llansteffan. The triangle formed by Llangynog, Llangain and Llansteffan constitutes Thomas’ “breeding-box valley”, as he once put it. His mother’s family, the Williams’, lived in the triangle, in farms such as Waunfwlchan, Llwyngwyn, Maesgwyn and Penycoed. 2014 saw a program of cultural events celebrating Dylan Thomas centenary. Five miles to the north east of Mansion House Llansteffan is the retail and historical market town of Carmarthen. Carmarthen has become a central base for visitors of Pembrokeshire, the Gower and Cardigan alike, due to its central location to such a wide variety of attractions.
