Our cottage blends traditional charm with modern comfort, offering a cosy retreat just steps away from Cromford Mill, the River Derwent, and scenic walking trails that weave through the Derwent Valley Mills. Inside, you’ll find a welcoming living space with rustic beams, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms — perfect for couples, families, or small groups looking to unwind after exploring the Peak District. Outside, enjoy a peaceful courtyard garden ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks.

We can't wait to show others what Cromford and the local area have to offer. We bought the cottage in 2020 and always planned to run it as a holiday property with plenty of time for us to enjoy it too during the school holidays! We have fully renovated the house using materials that are correct for a property of this age and hope to conserve it for other families to enjoy in the future.

Cromford is a village like no other — once home to Sir Richard Arkwright’s pioneering textile mill, it’s now a delightful mix of history, heritage, and village life. Wander the independent shops, stop by the local pubs, or venture further afield to nearby Matlock Bath, Gulliver's Kingdom, Chatsworth House, or the scenic High Peak Trail. Come and experience a stay that’s full of character, comfort, and the timeless charm of Cromford.
