Millbrook is set in a peaceful country lane in tranquil gardens full of wildlife. We offer self-catering accommodation which is completely separate to our living area and privately accessed, but in the same house. It comprises one double bedroom, full sized kitchen, bathroom and large double aspect living room and a conservatory with a gym. The bathroom has a large full sized separate shower and a large bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, cooker and fridge freezer. The living room is double aspect with a homely feel and a full wall of book shelves. There is a conservatory with a gym where you can take off your muddy or sandy boots or shoes. The bedroom has lovely garden views and often we see the pheasant strolling through, together with many other birds which visit the garden, including woodpeckers, nuthatches, jays, etc. The whole property and garden gives a lovely tranquil feel. You will have the opportunity to walk around our private three acres of landscaped gardens with chickens, ducks and rheas. You can have access to our summerhouse and BBQ - pictured in the photographs too.

Bill and I are an outdoor friendly couple who enjoy sharing our 3 acres of landscaped gardens where we have free-range ducks, chickens and rheas, as well as our cat. We love meeting people, are very friendly and outgoing. We have both, over the years, run many London Marathons between us, cycled, kayaked, sailed, walked many miles and enjoyed many skiing holidays but more recently become avid gardeners providing most of our own vegetables, particularly through the summer. My husband and I are extremely friendly and although respect your privacy, would be available for a cuppa and a chat if you so wished.

Although very rural, only a mile away is Sainsburys and Tescos and the lovely old market town of Helston and its amenities. There are many beautiful beaches and coves nearby and wonderful walks, publilc gardens together with fishing and boat hire on the doorstep. For those who like golf Mullion Golf Course is a short distance away. The area is home to the filing of Poldark and where Agatha Christie and Daphne du Maurier based many of their novels. The Cathedral City of Cornwall, Truro is 17 miles away. We are able to share our extensive local knowledge and keep you up to date with information on what is on.
