Property info

A very warm welcome awaits you at our elegant family guest accomodation which has recently been fully refurbished and is the winner of the Guest House of the Year 2024 & 2025 in Visit York's Tourism Awards. We have eight beautifully decorated, spacious double, twin and triple bedrooms all with ensuite. We offer an award-winning breakfast and are fully licensed with minibars also in each room. With space at a premium in York, we also have the advantage of private parking and a cycle locker at the rear of our house. We operate a quiet hour policy from 10:30 am to 8 am so are not suitable for those looking to party late or for Stag Hen parties.

MonkBridge House is in the perfect location for you to explore all that the ancient city of York has to offer. Less than a 10 minute walk to the city center so you can easily visit the many award-winning attractions such as the Jorvik Viking Centre, York Minster, The National Railway Museum, York Castle Museum and the York Chocolate Story to name only a few! We are also close to the universities and York racecourse.
