Mooredge is a Friendly Family run Guest House, within our Edwardian Home, a 15 minute Stroll from the Centre of Whitby.
We have 3 Double Ensuite Guest Bedrooms, 2 on the first floor (one flight of stairs), and The Attic which is the entire Second floor, each has gorgeous sweeping views across the Esk Valley.
We take pride in our Accommodation being clean, comfortable & cosy. We hope that our attention to detail will make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
We use Pure Cotton soft bedding and Towels, and quality refreshments. A Kettle, Tea, Coffee & Sugar, Dairy or Plant Milk, Bothams Locally made Biscuits and Filtered Water are provided.
Breakfast snacks,(Porridge pots, Fruit etc) are available to Guests at no extra charge. We do not have a Guest Dining Room, and do not offer cooked Breakfasts.
All Rooms have Smart TV's, and Free WiFi is available throughout.
Off Road Parking is available on our Drive (Please note that we do not reserve spaces), there is also plenty of unrestricted Street Parking directly outside.
Once our Guests check in (3pm), they are given keys to the Front Door and their Room to come & go as they please. There is no Curfew.
Please be aware that we have a Labrador (Pippin) who is restricted to the Private areas of the Property.

Whitby is a Beautiful Historic Coastal Town. Stroll along the Harbour, and through the Cobbled streets which have many Independent Shops. Climb the 199 steps up the the Historic ruins of Whitby Abbey, and stop off at the Whitby Brewery. Or, walk along our beautiful Award winning Sandy Beach, before choosing from one of the many Pubs, Cafes and Restaurants. Having Fresh Fish & Chips during your visit is a must.
