Station Cottage is a newly built, single‑storey brick retreat offering a warm and self‑contained escape for two guests in the heart of Morpeth. The spacious living room is centred around a working log burner, with two leather sofas, a dining table and chairs, and a Smart TV — perfect for relaxed evenings in. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, fridge‑freezer, and complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed, and the en‑suite bathroom offers a freestanding bath, walk‑in shower, heated towel rail, and toiletries. Outside, guests have exclusive use of a private patio with outdoor dining furniture, a lawned garden, and a BBQ. Free private gated parking is available on site for one vehicle. If you are planning to bring a pet, you must let us know before arrival. The charge is twenty‑five pounds, with a maximum of one dog. The dog must be well‑behaved, house‑trained, and not left alone for the duration of the stay. A payment link will be sent after booking. History enthusiasts will find the 13th-century Chantry and its Bagpipe Museum worth a visit, and the wider town has a relaxed pace with plenty of places to eat and drink. Northumberland countryside walking routes begin practically from the door, and the coast — with its dramatic castles, sandy beaches, and clifftop paths — is a short drive away. Warkworth is reachable in around 20 minutes by car, and Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden in approximately 22 minutes. Morpeth town centre and the train station are both around a 9-minute walk, with Newcastle city centre just 15 minutes by direct train. Free private gated parking is available on site.
