The property is a modern town house in a small development of individual houses, very close to the beach and to great coastal walks and open fields. The village of Freshwater is a 5-10 minute walk, with all the amenities and shops you might want, including restaurants and take-aways - including the great British classic, Fish and Chips! The property is setup to accommodate families with children and we can supply stair-gates, high chair and travel cot on request only. Our home is setup for self catering and so guests are reminded to bring their own toiletries. There is a family bathroom on the top floor and each of the double bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. An EV charger is also available to use during your stay but be sure to contact us in advance to arrange power access and deposit to cover use. Alternatively local public chargers are available in both Freshwater and Yarmouth.
I live in SW London, England, with my family and we love to visit the tranquility and peaceful Isle of Wight. In fact, we enjoy it so much we bought our house here and now open it up for visitors to enjoy when we are not there.
Colwell Bay is a 5-10 minute walk, where they have a sandy beach, and why not enjoy a drink or a meal at The Hut? In the other direction, Totland Bay with a beach side cafe and The Waterfront restaurant/Pub. There is a large playing field and children's play park within 2 mins walk, and the village of Freshwater is also 5-10 mins walk! Everything is close to hand here, and the West Wight is a quiet and beautiful part of the island. Yarmouth is a good day trip with its many shops, pubs and castle to explore, which is a 10 min drive, or approx. 3 miles walk along the coastal path which is recommended if you enjoy a walk. Alum Bay and the world famous Needles, are in the other direction about 10 min drive, or a 3-4 mile walk!
