Myrtleberry studio sits in a stunning location, nestled in the foothills of the majestic Malvern hills, in the heart of Castlemorton common. Next to the property is a nature reserve and on the common you can wander as you wish. A 30 minutes walk leads to the top of the Malvern hills at British Camp, with amazing views in all directions. The studio is warm, light and airy with sweeping views over the orchards to the hills. It is a perfect getaway to relax, revive and energise in natural surroundings. Walkers, cyclists, nature lovers and dark sky lovers will all be at home. Near by are the pretty towns of Upton, Ledbury, Tewkesbury and Malvern all with a delightful array of shops and eateries. We are also only a 5 minute drive to the Three Counties Showground. The studio is comfortably furnished for your stay and has parking outside the door or in the barn. We provide a continental breakfast each day, to eat when you wish and with the added bonus that we do all your washing up! We aim to provide sustainable accommodation and recycle and source local furniture and tradespeople. Our garden has been planted to encourage wildlife and particularly bees. We are lucky to have an award winning restaurant near by - the Inn at Welland and a great gastopub in the Swan at Hanley Swan - with its idyllic village green and duck pond. For simple pub food, a 10 minute walk takes you to our local pub the Robin Hood. Many of our guests return year after year to find the peace and tranquillity, that this area has to offer. Hi, my name is Rachel and I love hosting guests at Myrtleberry Studio. I live with my lovely hubby Terry and sometimes my two adult children, can be seen passing through. We have Willow our friendly Labrador Retriever and 6 Soay sheep, that look more like goats! Terry and I enjoy sharing our space in this beautiful part of the world with our many UK and international guests. We will leave you in peace if you want, but are always available for a chat or to help out with any holiday plans. We love exploring the area ourselves and aim to make sure our guests get the best possible experiences during their stay. We learn lots from our many guests. We have had dowsers, samba players, a stilt walker, and vintage car enthusiasts to name a few. Some of my interests and hobbies have come from talking to our guests, for instance, we now head off to see the Severn bore each year. I am a playwright, producer and director and run Malvern Skyline Productions. We are a company who specialises in plays about local stories and people. The Malvern hills area is full of interesting people and tales to tell…so I have many more plays in me! We perform at Malvern and Theatres and other local venues in the area.
