Oakwood is family-run, 25 minutes to central London by train and just over 5 minutes' drive to Heathrow Airport. Near Windsor, Legoland, Stockley Park, Brunel, also Wembley, Twickenham, Harry Potter Studios, Kew Gardens. Rooms have Hypnos' top model pocket-sprung mattress as used in 5 Star hotel chains, oak beds and free Wi-Fi; parking is free out front, on side roads, at a charge in gated car park. A great variety of restaurants nearby includes superb Indian, Pakistani and Chinese, Pizza, Burgers, Peri Peri. Freshly cooked Breakfast with our butcher's dry cure bacon and award-winning sausages, rich-yolk eggs and TipTree conserves is an extra cost unless the rate says 'breakfast included' in green text.

We speak fluent French, and good German. We enjoy theatre, film and helping people discover good places in London and the nearby attractions of Windsor, it's castle, Legoland, Ascot and places accessible outside London like Oxford, Stonehenge, Bath, Bicester Village.

Property info

Family-run and friendly, with a great variety of good restaurants nearby, many reachable on foot. PLEASE NOTE: Breakfast is an extra cost on the lower rate, only included in the price if you choose the higher 'breakfast included' rate in green. People love our Breakfasts for the dry-cured bacon and award winning sausages by our local butcher, rich yolk eggs, quality Tiptree marmalade and small-batch Cornish artisan Strawberry jam. We invested in good Wi-Fi kit to get fast broadband Wi-Fi free in our rooms. Our Superior rooms are comfy with oak beams, spacious shower cubicles, Hypnos ortho-mattresses, bedside light dimmers. Standard rooms are smaller and offer value with flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms En-Suite except the 2 Single Basic with a Shared Shower and toilet, which does lock and is only used by one guest at a time. We are not on any Heathrow flight paths. *PLEASE NOTE we are not self-catering accommodation: there is no guest use of the kitchen or dining room.*

Neighborhood info

We are very near Heathrow Airport and Stockley Business Park, under 25 minutes' to London by train. Windsor Castle, the weekend home of the royals is a 20 minutes' drive away, also near to Legoland, Ascot Racecourse, Twickenham and Wembley Stadiums, Harry Potter, Hampton Court, Kew and Wimbledon. We are not any flight paths from Heathrow Airport here.
