On the ground floor the cottage has a contemporary living area with a pull-out sofa bed, flat screen tv and kitchen. Utility room with a toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including a fan oven and hob. Microwave, kettle and toaster. Upstairs there is a walk-in shower and a hairdryer which is perfect to freshen up after exploring the forest. King size bed, set of draws, wardrobe and dressing table. Outside there is a table and chairs and BBQ. The cottage has free Wi-Fi and a smart tv where guests can log into their own on-demand accounts. There is one parking space only otherwise, its street parking. Bed linen and towes provided. High chair, Travel cot and iron and ironing board available on request.

Ole Butt Cottage is within our grounds and we live in the main house. Myself and my partner can offer advice about most activities you wish to know within the area and if we dont know we can soon find out.

There are many forest walks right on the door step and mountain bike trails. Within fifteen minutes you can be strolling the woods that surround Cinderford. We have an independent cinema (Palace Cinema) with two screens just at the bottom of the road. All seats are just under five pounds and the snacks are also excellent value. There is a sport centre with a swimming pool and a large fully equipped gym. The cottage is close to all amenities of the forest including Go Ape, Puzzlewood, The Sculpture Trail, Beechenhurst, beautiful lakes at Cannop and Mallards Pike and cycle centres at Cannop and Parkend. Clearwell caves (which has the most magical Christmas event, a must for children and adults alike) and Symonds Yat Rock are also a short drive. We have made a guide which is in the cottage which contains lots of information about the area and includes places to eat/takeaways and local watering holes as well as local tourist attractions. Bus stop located a 5-minute walk down the road (outside Tesco's) where you can catch busses to Gloucester, Coleford and Monmouth.
