I lovely home with a lovely garden.

I lovely home with a lovely garden. Friendly hosts, they made it easy to collect the key from a key box and answered any questions that we had by text. Lovely bathroom, very clean well equipped with extra towels, big dining room and lounge. Lots of books and games to play, a TV that you can use to login on your own accounts or use the DVD player. Lovely bedrooms. Fire pit and jacuzzi in the garden were great, fenced, perfect for dogs. Walk from the rear of the garden to the woods. We had a great time. Thank you. We will come back x

Like s, Easy access to Forest walks and the cycle trail, good access to supermarkets for food. Not so positive, limited other shopping other except takeaway food, although not too far to drive to Ross on Wye for a trip out for a larger town with a bigger range of shops.

Cinderford was within walking distance of the start of the forest of dean. It could do with a bit of a revamp but there's some good takeaways. The locals were friendly and there's a big Tesco for self catering holidays. A lot of takeaways only took cash

We should have stayed in Coleford.

We should have stayed in Coleford. Poor Cinderford, I'm sure at one time it was a lively, thriving town but it's so rundown and everything looks tawdry and tatty. Lots of shops have shut down making it seem quite desolate. Would never go there again.

Leaving the property in the morning knowing that we wouldn't be back. despite having already paid for the second night's bed and breakfast. We drove through Cinderford on our way to the accommodation, and we were not tempted to explore the town any further. It had the look of a town that had seen better days.

Unfortunately Cinderford is never going to rival the Cotswold towns as it is not as old and is more industrial. It has the air of a neglected seaside town. You would only stay there to access the Forest of Dean.
