I have lived in Northumbumberland for 22 years and have run Guest Houses for the majority of my time here.
In 2023 I moved to Oronsay House it’s a very impressive house with many period features, think high ceilings with ceiling roses, feature fireplaces. It has a very homely feel to it and love being so centrally located with everything to hand. I enjoy meeting people and pride myself on providing the utmost attention to detail for guests comfort during their stay.

Built in 1880, Oronsay Guest House exhibits many period features and is centrally located to the town centre. We are a similar distance to one of the entrances to Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens and just 200 yards from Barter Books. Alnwick Playhouse 100 yards featuring a variety of film, music, theatre and dance.
There are 3 floors to the property, two guest rooms are on the first floor, the third guest room on the second floor and the Single Room is on the top floor.
Neighborhood info
There are several lovely walks to enjoy such as Hulne Park in Alnwick or a short drive to Alnmouth with its impressive golf course, beaches and walks along the coast to neighbouring villages. Dunstanburgh Castle, Bamburgh Castle, The Farne Islands and Holy Island are all very accessible and Cragside just 20 minutes away.
Northumberland is a truly magical place with so many attractions, places to visit you are sure to return time and time again.
