Warham is a small hamlet tucked away just a mile or so inland from the coast at Wells-next-the-Sea. You wouldn't really find it if you weren't looking! The village boasts views across the Stiffkey valley and towards Wighton in the south, two churches and the remains of two large manor houses, one of which was owned by the Turner family, once major landowners who were in the end eclipsed by the Holkham Estate. For a more energetic exploration, venture out on the water with a Seal trip from Morston or Blakeney, a fishing trip or a nature cruise out to one of North Norfolk's best kept secrets, Scolt Head Island Nature Reserve.
