The beautiful Grade 2 listed Manor house of Painters dated 1547 which has lent its name to the surrounding village recently teased back to its historic best revealing the nooks, crackles & crannies of its 500 years. Filled with an eclectic array of antiques and quirky finds, the house can accomodate up to 12 folk available for families, friends & corporate holiday stays. Painters Farm set in its own acre of gardens, Kent Downs AONB, just 200yds from The Alma Pub serving good ales & great food.
As a working farm we are always around but privacy for our house guests to enjoy their stay is paramount. The Farm has its own highly rated campsite open from March until October with its own quiet time from 11pm until 7am. Our campsite managers, the lovely Simon & Karen stay on the campsite, keeping a watchful eye - always available for house guests too at the farm reception if needed . Our little shop sells eggs, milk, gummies and tomato sauce!
Lovely village setting on the slopes of an area of oustsanding natural beauty The Kent Downs. Plentiful parking on the farm.
