Parkside Apartment Normanton is a first floor apartment so there is one flight of stairs to climb upon arrival. Inside are coat hooks and a shoe rack so that any messy outdoor wear can be stored neatly as you begin to relax into your stay here. As you enter the hallway, there are two large bedrooms. Both can be configured as two single beds or a super king bed in each room. (Please advise your required bedding configuration upon booking). Each room is fitted with bedside tables, lamps, a fan, cube extension port with USB & plug connections to help you in charging your devices. The bathroom has a shower over bath, toilet and hand basin for your private use as you refresh and unwind on your stay here. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are laid out as a spacious open plan living area. The sofa is a bespoke La-Z-Boy with USB ports to lean back and enjoy the smart TV or WIFI from. The dining table and chair set is equipped with coasters and there are plates and dishes in the kitchen cupboards so that all meals or takeaways can be eaten at the table. The kitchen has tasteful small appliances, utensils, pots, pans and a washing machine. A new oven, hob, and fridge freezer have been added as of January 2026. There is tea, coffee and sugar in the cupboard for your convenience. The apartment is modern and sleek with a colour scheme of white, grey and metallics. There are wall art canvas's of local landscapes commissioned by a local artist specifically for this property. It has plenty of natural lighting and has a green space next door which extends the feeling of openness. Parkside Apartment Normanton is in a residential area, not far from Normanton township, transport links to the north, south, east and west are easily accessibly by car and public transport. The booking fee includes WIFI, linen and parking. The parking includes one un-designated parking space behind the property and plenty of on street parking is usually available.

Short walk to Normanton town centre & train station. Short drive or bus to Xscape & Junction 32 Castleford, Trinity Walks, Wakefield City Centre & Leeds City Centre, Trinity Leeds, White Rose Centre, First Direct Arena, Thornes Park Stadium, Wakefield Trinity Rugby League Club, Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Rovers & Leeds Stadiums. School holiday bookings for families are welcome too! There's so many parks, nearby to explore. Indoor playgrounds, minigolf, bowling, snow slope, zipline restaurants, bars and takeaways at Xscape in Casteford. Nextdoor to that is outlet shopping at Junction 32. Hawhill Park in Normanton has an outdoor playground too and a little further afield the is Pontefract Park. For food, we highly recommend Sliced Cafe in Normanton for a delicious cafe meal, Greggs & The bakery for baked grab & go pastries. For take aways Royal Balty & King Street Fisheries. Normanton is a residential town, rooted originally in industry & coal mining. The area although near to the centre of Wakefield is in an area with picturesque rolling hills, productively farmed. The are many beautful places to see such as Pugney Park, Sandal Castle, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Blacker Hall Farm, Nostell Priory, Farmer Copley's.
