Prinsted is a beautiful sailing village on the Hampshire Sussex border on Chichester harbour. The waterfront is the ideal location to launch your kayak or paddle board and there is hire available at Emsworth Marina. The walk from Pears Grove to the front is charming through wondering through the conservation area that is peppered with beautiful thatched cottages and listed buildings. The Travellers Joy does lovely food and is within walking distance of the house, and Emsworth is about 15 minutes walk with a whole host or bars, restaurants and pubs. There is a monthly farmers market in Emsworth and many independent shops. To the east is the beautiful Cathedral City of Chichester were you can enjoy shopping and a walk around the Roman walls. To the west is Gunwarf Quays which is famous for the outlet shopping and fabulous bars and restaurants.
