"Our aim is to create an experience, not just a visit" ~ Pheasant Retreat is the ultimate luxurious experience and has the biggest bath in Essex. Ideal for Honeymooners and romantic breaks away. The private garden is equipped with a large day bed for two and is completely secluded offering a level of unprecedented privacy. ~ Pheasant Lodge is filled with natural light and has fantastic views from all 7 windows and a private sunny garden. ~ Pheasant Suite is the smaller of our three Suites and does not have a kitchen. It has a separate sitting room with views across the fields. The bedroom which has a French carved queen size bed has double doors looking over the garden. We are listed on TripAdvisor with over 600 excellent reviews.

We are located less than three miles from the centre of Colchester and Essex University, a mile from the village of Elmstead Market, which is home to The Beth Chatto Gardens and only 15 miles from Harwich. It is on the edge of the beautiful Dedham Vale and Constable Country.
